Senior Product Security Software Engineer

Build secure, scalable software at Faire using Kotlin, cloud computing, and automation. This hybrid role supports product engineering across the marketplace.

As a Senior Software Engineer on Product Security, you will help engineering teams develop and deploy secure software. You will build reusable frameworks, consult during product design, and strengthen protections for customers and their data. The work spans authentication, data access, vulnerabilities, and security awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build scalable Kotlin frameworks for authentication and data access
• Assess access controls and audit trails with foundational teams
• Address product security vulnerabilities during design and development
• Promote secure coding practices and security awareness
• Build product features protecting customers and their data

Requirements:

• Passion for programming, automation, and scalable security solutions
• Code writing and review experience with Java, Python, or Typescript
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
• Understanding of web security principles and OWASP Top 10
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or modern cloud environments
