Overview
In this role you define and lead test strategy, governance and release quality for Wealth & Retirement platform programmes. You will influence roadmaps and solution design to boost quality, testability and release readiness, while managing complex dependencies across vendors and teams. You drive quality transformation through automation, CI/CD and risk-based testing, and provide executive-level delivery reporting. This position suits a practitioner who can shape testing in regulated financial services at scale and partner with cross-functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Define and lead test strategy, governance, and release assurance across Wealth & Retirement platform programmes
- Influence product roadmap, architecture and solution design decisions to improve quality and release readiness
- Coordinate complex dependencies among platform vendors, stakeholders, release teams, environment teams and third-party suppliers
- Drive automation, CI/CD quality gates, and risk-based testing to improve productivity and quality outcomes
- Provide executive-level reporting on delivery progress, risks, defects, dependencies and quality outcomes
- Strong understanding of Wealth & Retirement platforms, pensions, workplace savings, investment products and adviser-led wealth services
- Experience in test strategy, functional, integration, regression testing, UAT support and release assurance
- Knowledge of quality governance, defect management, test data strategy, environment readiness and risk-based testing
