Thurber seeks a senior project controls professional to monitor budgets, forecasts, commitments, and cost performance. You will prepare reports, manage change controls, support invoicing, and identify cost exposures. The work serves engineering and construction projects across Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor project costs, commitments, budgets, forecasts, and variances
• Maintain change control, trend, and change order registries
• Prepare project cost reports, dashboards, and payment applications
• Conduct cost audits and develop cost control strategies
• Validate timesheets and vendor invoices for project billing

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in engineering, construction, accounting, or related fields
• Preferred 10+ years in cost or project controls
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and contract knowledge
• Advanced Microsoft Office, Power BI, P6, and MS Projects proficiency
• Clear communication and strong analytical problem-solving skills
