Senior Project Engineer, Cloud & Infrastructure

• Deliver infrastructure, cloud, and modern workplace projects across a diverse customer base
• Design and implement secure, scalable IT solutions aligned with customers' business objectives
• Build trusted customer relationships as a strategic technical advisor
• Review customer environments and identify improvements to performance, resilience, security, and user experience
• Lead cloud adoption and infrastructure modernisation projects, including Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid environments
• Maintain customer environments in line with Cyber Essentials best practices
• Act as the final technical escalation point for complex infrastructure and support issues
• Own major technical incidents and change requests through successful completion
• Mentor and support Service Desk engineers
• Collaborate across Professional Services, Service Delivery, and Account Management

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience across Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft Defender, Active Directory, and Exchange Online
• Strong experience with Windows Server, Hyper-V, VMware, SQL, AWS, hybrid infrastructure environments, and backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Good understanding of LAN/WAN, VPN, firewall, switching and routing, wireless networking, co-location, and hybrid environments
• Experience gathering diagnostic information and performing root cause analysis
• Ability to research multiple data sources and provide detailed and accurate analysis
• Understanding of security concepts and frameworks relating to Cyber Essentials and ISO2701
• Accurate and effective verbal and written communication
