Senior Property Accountant Data Centers

Own property accounting for Compass Datacenter’s Toronto portfolio, applying lease expertise, CAM reconciliations, and NetSuite to data center operations. Support accurate billing, recoveries, and reporting.

As Senior Accountant, Data Center Operations, you will partner with site leaders, customers, vendors, FP&A, and accounting teams. Your work covers lease interpretation, utility billings, month-end close, reconciliations, and operational analysis. You will also help improve scalable processes through technology, AI, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own accounting for assigned data center buildings and leases
• Lead CAM reconciliations and translate lease terms into recoveries
• Calculate monthly power and utility billings
• Lead property month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare variance analysis and portfolio reporting

Requirements:

• Two to three or more years of audit experience
• Or four to five or more years of progressive accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Advanced Excel, NetSuite, GAAP, and property accounting knowledge
• Fluent spoken and written English required
