Senior Property Accountant Yardi

Lead property accounting accuracy with Yardi and financial analysis at QuadReal Property Group. This role supports commercial and retail assets in Canada.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Property Accountant prepares full-cycle property accounting deliverables. You will produce financial statements, analyze NOI, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and manage lease-driven processes. The role also requires budget preparation, audit support, recovery calculations, and clear communication. CPA qualification or enrollment, or relevant full-cycle property accounting experience, is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce monthly and quarterly financial statements
• Analyze NOI and explain material variances
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and working papers
• Maintain tenant recoveries in Yardi
• Prepare property budgets and reforecasts

Requirements:

• Qualified or enrolled CPA designation, or relevant experience
• Minimum five years commercial or retail property accounting experience
• Some staff supervision experience
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Yardi knowledge is an asset
