Senior Python Backend Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and build highly scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for a core banking platform .

What You’ll Do

  • Design and deliver high-quality backend features and enhancements
  • Own end-to-end delivery of large, complex initiatives
  • Design scalable distributed systems and microservices
  • Develop and optimize RESTful APIs
  • Improve system performance and meet SLAs
  • Participate in technical design, sprint planning, and code reviews
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices

Must-Have Skills

  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Microservices & distributed systems
  • Docker / containerization
  • Strong SQL & MySQL
  • RDBMS concepts: transactions, isolation levels, locking, deadlocks
  • RabbitMQ or similar messaging systems
  • GitHub/Git
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

  • Payroll or Time & Attendance platform integrations
  • Cloud computing experience
