Senior Python Backend Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join a team building highly scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for a core banking platform .

If you have strong experience in Python, Microservices, Distributed Systems, REST APIs, SQL/MySQL, and Docker , we'd love to hear from you!

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Software Development experience
  • RabbitMQ or similar Message Brokers
  • Strong System Design & Technical Design experience

Nice to Have

  • Experience with performance, scalability & reliability

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop scalable backend services
  • Build distributed microservices for high-volume financial transactions
  • Design and implement REST APIs
  • Participate in system architecture and technical design
  • Own features end-to-end from design through production
  • Optimize application performance and reliability
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers

Important: This is a 5-days onsite role in Toronto .
