In this hands-on role, you will enhance and support Python applications while transitioning database dependencies from Oracle to Snowflake in the Azure Cloud. Your expertise in database integration, Python coding, and troubleshooting will ensure the accuracy and functionality of business-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities: • Enhance and support existing Python applications for Risk teams • Analyze and update application code related to Oracle databases • Write maintainable and testable Python code for applications • Optimize SQL queries and troubleshoot database connectivity issues • Validate application behavior post-migration to Snowflake
Requirements: • Minimum 5 years of application development experience • Strong Python development abilities in production environments • Advanced SQL skills for complex query optimization • Experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and stored procedures • Familiar with Snowflake or similar cloud database platforms
