Senior Python Distributed Systems Engineer

Build distributed systems with Python and AI coding tools at Cover Genius in a hybrid engineering environment. Design reliable partner integrations across global platforms. As a Software Engineer 3, you will create production solutions for strategic partners in Financial Services and Merchants. The work spans backend services, batch pipelines, partner-facing frontends, and infrastructure. You will contribute to technical discovery, documentation, observability, and platform stability. Key Responsibilities:

Build distributed partner solutions across services, pipelines, frontends, and infrastructure Integrate Claude Code and Gemini into daily development workflows Draft architecture proposals for partner integration approaches Monitor alerts, troubleshoot failures, and coordinate platform fixes Write documentation and contribute through code reviews Requirements:

Four or more years maintaining production software systems Hands-on Python web services development experience Experience with APIs, S3 exchanges, and event-driven architectures Knowledge of AWS, Docker, CI/CD, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB Clear communication and concise technical documentation skills Apply distributed systems, Python, and AI-assisted development expertise to reliable partner technology at Cover Genius.
