Senior Python Engineer - Automation

Senior Engineer – Python Automation at Aristocrat drives enterprise automation initiatives within the Reporting Center of Excellence. You architect and deliver end-to-end automation solutions, maintain hundreds of processes, and mentor peers to raise technical capability. You’ll lead collaboration with business teams, explore AI-enabled tooling, and ensure governance and sustainability of automation efforts. This is a hands-on, impact-focused role shaping scalable reporting and data reconciliation across ERP and legacy systems.

• Design and implement full automation lifecycle from intake to production and documentation
• Review automated solutions with team lead for alignment with objectives
• Develop sustainability documentation and contribute to team training
• Operate and maintain 500+ automation processes for reliability
• Lead cross-functional meetings to identify automation opportunities and governance
• Enhance automations through code improvements and new Python/AI tooling
• Review peers' automation code and provide constructive feedback
• Mentor junior engineers in Python, automation frameworks, and problem-solving
• Identify process improvements and optimize existing automations
• Research new Python libraries and AI tools for automation efficiency
• Support PoC developments evaluating new automation tools
• Perform related duties as assigned
