Senior Python GenAI Developer

Build Python backend services with Gen AI and LLM expertise for Citi Bank in Mississauga, using a hybrid schedule onsite two to three days weekly.

This full-time Python Developer assignment requires eight-plus years of experience. You will develop reliable software, analyze data flows and source code, and contribute to Gen AI solutions. The work spans APIs, data transformation, CI/CD, and retrieval-augmented generation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop software using object-oriented and functional Python design
• Analyze data lineage, data flows, and source code
• Apply AST-based and pattern-based static analysis
• Design APIs and develop backend services
• Support automated builds, testing, deployment, and releases

Requirements:

• Eight-plus years of Python development experience
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis
• Experience with prompt design, tool calling, and agent orchestration
• Understanding of RAG, vector search, and semantic search
• Experience with data transformation and CI/CD pipelines
