In this role you will advance quality engineering across complex financial software programs for top investment banks. You will lead automation initiatives, integrate tests into CI/CD, and guide cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable trading and post‑trade systems. You’ll work in a global, professional environment focused on capital markets and FX/Murex ecosystems. Responsibilities
  • Drive quality engineering practices across complex technology delivery programmes
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks using Java, Playwright, Cucumber, and BDD
  • Integrate automated testing and quality gates into GitLab CI/CD pipelines
  • Lead testing across functional, regression, performance, resilience, and end-to-end scenarios using quality metrics
  • Support testing of FX and Murex environments including trade processing, reporting, interfaces, batch operations, reconciliation, and defect management
  • Collaborate with global engineering, product, and platform teams, providing technical leadership and driving adoption of quality standards
Key requirements
  • Extensive experience leading quality engineering across complex technology delivery programmes
  • Track record in implementing and advancing quality engineering and test automation across multiple testing types
  • Hands-on with test management platforms such as Zephyr, TestRail, or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of Playwright, Cucumber, and Java-based automation
  • Experience developing automated test frameworks in Java and integrating into CI/CD
  • Strong DevOps and Continuous Testing understanding with hands-on GitLab tools
  • Experience embedding automated tests in build, deploy, and release pipelines
  • Metrics-driven approach to quality engineering and data-driven improvement
  • Agile delivery experience and cross-functional collaboration
  • Degree level education or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience with FX products and financial services tech; Murex testing and support
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder influence; strong organizational skills
  • Ability to review and improve code for testability and quality
  • Proven technical leadership without direct people management
