Overview
You will lead automated testing for a real-time energy trading platform in fintech, focusing on end-to-end integrations and data flows. You will own testing across system connections, APIs, and third-party interfaces, shaping the overall QA strategy with autonomy. The role blends hands-on automation with collaboration to meet operational needs, supporting stakeholder requirements and user acceptance testing. This is a high-impact position in a scaling fintech with a modern data platform and AI-assisted data processing.

- Establish automated test coverage from the ground up across API-led integrations
- Test end-to-end data journeys and system connections between multiple platforms
- Work with third-party integrations and non-standard interfaces to validate data ingestion
- Define acceptance criteria and support user acceptance testing
- Take ownership of testing strategy, tooling, and approach with high autonomy
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios
- Review Claude outputs as part of daily testing activities
- Strong Playwright Test Automation skills
- Experience testing APIs and complex data flows across multiple systems
- Autonomous with ability to make technical decisions
- Experience in trading/finance environments with numeracy skills
- Collaborative, pragmatic communication and stakeholder management
- STEM degree from a top-tier university (e.g., Computer Science, Maths, Economics, Physics)
