About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated performance and load test scripts using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6.
• Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to understand application architecture and performance requirements.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish performance benchmarks.
• Integrate performance testing into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous performance monitoring.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and advocate for best practices in performance testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in QA automation, with a significant focus on performance and load testing.
• Proficiency with performance testing tools (e.g., Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6).
• Strong understanding of performance testing concepts, metrics, and methodologies.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, Groovy) for test script customization.
• Familiarity with application performance monitoring (APM) tools and cloud environments is a plus.
