Senior QA Engineer

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will champion quality across the full product lifecycle within a cross-functional delivery team. You’ll shape testing strategy, drive a quality-first mindset, and partner with engineers, product, and design to ensure reliable releases. Your work blends shift-left testing, exploratory testing, and observability-driven quality to shorten feedback loops and improve production outcomes. You’ll influence QA practices, mentor colleagues, and support automation to balance speed, risk, and quality. • Define and drive QA strategy and best practices within an Agile delivery team
• Ensure appropriate test levels (unit, integration, end-to-end) for coverage and risk mitigation
• Embed shift-left testing and emphasize early quality considerations in design and development
• Lead exploratory testing to surface issues users may encounter
• Use monitoring, metrics, and logs to support observability-led quality and production improvements
• Identify risks early and help the team make informed decisions
• Improve QA processes, standards, and ways of working across the team
• Mentor QA colleagues and collaborate with engineers to cultivate a quality-centric culture
• Support automation strategies and prioritize the most impactful tests

• Strong experience in modern QA practices including shift-left, exploratory testing, and Agile delivery
• Experience across API testing, SQL, and testability practices
• Solid understanding of the testing pyramid and risk-based quality approaches
• Experience using data, metrics, and observability to drive quality outcomes
