Overview
As Senior QA Tester at Frontier, you ensure quality across development from pre-production to post-release. You will design and execute test suites for medium-to-high-risk features and lead regression and playtesting efforts. You may assume Assistant Lead or Team Lead duties for specific phases, collaborating with cross-discipline teams to drive product quality. - Design, write, run and maintain medium-to-high risk test specifications and suites for new and existing projects
- Conduct playtesting using diverse personas and testing styles
- Envision user stories and collect data as instructed
- Identify and report issues clearly and accurately
- Perform regression testing for internal and external issues
- Collaborate as the QA point of contact for features with cross-discipline teams
- Provide mentoring and technical guidance to other testers
- Raise future testing hurdles and propose fixes and further testing ideas
- Contribute to product information and trend analysis to anticipate risks
- Significant QA experience in games industry
- Strong understanding of QA tools, procedures, methodologies and workflows
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience aligning testing with requirements and managing priorities
