In this role you will lead commercial aspects of major data centre projects, applying FIDIC Yellow Book contract knowledge to maximise value and minimise risk. You will work with a cross-functional project team to maintain cost control, contract administration, and timely commercial decisions. The position offers exposure to high-profile sectors and complex contracts, with a focus on governance, variations, and claims management. You will help shape project outcomes by delivering robust commercial insights and proactive risk mitigation.

- Administer FIDIC Yellow Book contracts and provide contractual guidance to the project team
- Interpret contract provisions related to payment, variations, claims, delays, and dispute resolution
- Maintain contract notices, records, and correspondence in prescribed timelines
- Manage all commercial aspects from start to final account, including cost reporting and cash flow
- Produce monthly commercial reports highlighting opportunities, risks, and mitigations
- Lead evaluation, pricing, and negotiation of variations; assess quotations and substantiation of costs
- Prepare independent cost estimates and commercial assessments; manage change control and registers
- Assess entitlement under FIDIC provisions and prepare EOT/cost claim related assessments
- Support employer responses to contractor claims and assist in dispute avoidance
- Experience in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
- Significant experience administering major projects under FIDIC Yellow Book
- Experience in infrastructure, energy, utilities, oil & gas, renewables, process engineering, or industrial sectors
- Proven track record managing projects valued in excess of 50m
- Strong experience in variation management, claims assessment, and contract administration
- Proficiency in cost reporting, forecasts, and commercial risk assessments
- Strong knowledge of change control and project controls processes
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or related discipline
- MRICS or equivalent professional qualification preferred
