Senior Quality Analyst Engineer


Our client just 40 minutes north of Barrie, ON is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join a leading advanced manufacturing organization. This role will be responsible for ensuring product quality, process compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives while serving as the voice of the customer on all quality-related matters. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that projects and process control documents are compliant with customer requirements .

Key Responsibilities



  • Develop, maintain, and improve quality systems, processes, and control plans.

  • Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) to AS9102 standards.

  • Review customer requirements, drawings, specifications, and engineering changes.

  • Lead risk assessment activities using PPAP, FMEA, MSA, Process Flow Diagrams, and Control Plans.

  • Drive root cause and corrective action investigations utilizing tools such as 5 Why and Fishbone analysis.

  • Analyze manufacturing data using SPC methodologies and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Participate in non-conforming material reviews and quality disposition activities.

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations.


Qualifications



  • University degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field.

  • Experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, MSA, Control Plans, SPC, and RCCA methodologies.

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications



  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).

  • Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspections.

  • Knowledge of engineering change management and non-conformance processes.

  • Experience creating, maintaining, and auditing quality documentation.

  • Background in precision manufacturing, or highly regulated industries.


MUST HAVE


Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain the required Controlled Goods Program status and/or Government of Canada security clearance
