Overview
In this role you shape quality foundations for one of the UK’s ambitious aerospace and defence programmes. You will drive product integrity and quality performance across the lifecycle, embedding robust practices from concept to delivery. You’ll lead investigations and corrective actions, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to proactively improve processes. This is a mission-driven position that offers impact across complex programmes, with a strong focus on quality systems and audits.

- Develop and deploy quality plans, processes and assurance activities across the programme lifecycle
- Lead quality investigations, RCA and CA to improve product and process performance
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and programme teams to improve processes and procedures
- Support internal and external audits, customer reviews and programme quality reporting
- Apply knowledge of AS9100 / ISO9001 quality management systems and quality tools (RCA, Process Mapping, FAI)
- Working knowledge of AS9100 / ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
- Familiarity with quality tools and techniques: RCA, CA, Process Mapping, FAI
- Ability to support audits, reviews and quality reporting
- Experience in liaising across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and programme teams
