Senior Quality Systems Engineer, United Kingdom

As a Quality Systems Engineer in Anduril’s London team, you will lead the Quality Management System (QMS) across sites, drive regulatory compliance, and enable scalable quality processes. You’ll partner with manufacturing, suppliers, and QA teams to ensure mission-ready products meet UK/European standards and NATO quality expectations. This role combines hands-on QMS work with data analytics and continuous improvement to sustain growth and ensure high-quality deliverables in a defense context.

• Lead the execution and continuous improvement of the QMS and its top-level processes
• Coordinate audits (internal and external) of the QMS and software implementations across Anduril sites, including London
• Ensure compliance with UK DEF STANs, UKCA marking, UK GDPR, and HSE regulations for defense manufacturing
• Drive STANAG-based quality compliance (AQAP publications) for aerospace and software-intensive systems
• Liaise with UK MOD QA representatives and NATO QA authorities to support GQA activities and audits
• Collaborate with business systems, product quality, and manufacturing engineering to develop new QMS capabilities and onboard suppliers
• Develop a QMS roadmap aligned to scaling needs, including ITAR/EAR interfaces and export controls
• Maintain audit programs, lead internal audits, and support customer audits as needed
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives aligned with AS9100, AQAP, and STANAG frameworks
• Develop QMS training modules for UK/NATO-specific regulatory requirements and training records

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3–5 years of aerospace and/or defense manufacturing experience
• Expert knowledge of QMS standards (ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D, AS9110C, AS9120B, AS6500, IATF 16949:2016, ISO 13485:2016, TL 9000 R6.3)
• Familiarity with STANAGs (4107, 4159, 4161) and associated AQAPs (2110, 2210, 2310)
• Knowledge of UK MOD DEF STANs, GQA processes, UK Export Control Act 2002, UKCA/CE marking, and HSE regulations
• Experience with QMS software (Net Inspect, Siemens, SAP, ETQ, One Factory, MasterControl, Compliance Quest, Hexagon, PTC, QT9)
• Data analytics, reporting, and basic data visualization skills
• Project management for software system implementations and supplier onboarding
• Knowledge of ERP, PLM, and BI systems; strong ownership mindset; proven track record in QMS implementation
• Right to work in the United Kingdom and up to 20% travel to US facilities/NATO sites
