Senior React Front-End Developer

Build client-facing online banking applications at CIBC as a Senior React Front-End Developer with React.js, Vue.js, HTML, and CSS expertise. Work arrangements combine on-site and remote work as discussed during interviews.

Within Simplii Financial's technology team, you will develop front-end code for web applications supporting online banking and other financial tools. You will define front-end architecture, deliver single-page applications, and collaborate with user experience, quality assurance, business analysts, scrum masters, and product owners. Your work will support Simplii Financial's strategic priorities and client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and extend architecture for online application front ends
• Develop banking services, forms, calculators, and financial planning tools
• Share coding knowledge and improve documentation and processes
• Support accessibility, security, testing, and CIBC standards
• Present project updates and help meet delivery timelines

Requirements:

• At least eight years of enterprise React.js experience
• Experience with React, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of Git branching strategies and responsive design
• Experience with code testing frameworks
• Agile environment experience is an asset
