I'm currently working with a well-funded consumer technology business that is reimagining how customers discover and purchase premium products online.

Operating within a market that has traditionally been slow to innovate, they've built a membership-led platform that combines technology, commerce and curated customer experiences into a single digital product.

Whilst still relatively early in their engineering journey, the wider business already has significant commercial backing, an established customer base, and ambitious plans for growth over the coming years.

As they continue investing heavily in their technology platform, they're now looking to hire a Senior React Native Engineer to play a key role in shaping the future of their mobile experience.

This isn't a role for someone who simply wants to build screens from designs. Instead, you'll be trusted to own major parts of the mobile experience, working closely with Product and Design to create something customers genuinely enjoy using.

What you'll be doing

• Building and evolving a React Native application across both iOS and Android
• Owning and extending a cross-platform design system
• Creating smooth, responsive user experiences through thoughtful animations, gestures and interactions
• Delivering seamless checkout and payment experiences
• Contributing to architectural decisions across the mobile platform
• Working closely with Product and Design to balance technical excellence with user needs
• Mentoring other engineers and helping to raise the bar across the team

What they're looking for

• Strong commercial React Native experience
• Experience shipping production applications across both iOS and Android
• A strong understanding of mobile architecture and application performance
• Experience building consumer-facing products
• Experience working closely with Product and Design teams
• Engineers who care about code quality, maintainability and user experience in equal measure
• Comfortable operating in a high-ownership environment where you'll be trusted to make decisions

Salary: £65,000 - £90,000 DOE

Working setup: Hybrid London (3 days per week)
