Senior React TypeScript Engineer

Build React and TypeScript products remotely from Canada for Knotch, working across AI-generated experiences and enterprise analytics applications. Shape frontend systems used by recognizable brands.

As a Senior Front End Engineer, you will split your time between Knotch ACE and Knotch One. You will work with Next.js App Router, Redux, GraphQL, styled-components, data visualization, and streamed component descriptions. The work combines greenfield design with careful changes in mature codebases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build features across both applications using existing conventions
• Develop schemas and renderers for streamed AI-generated layouts
• Create multi-tenant theming with tokens and brand configurations
• Maintain embeds running inside customer websites
• Set testing, accessibility, and performance standards

Requirements:

• Six-plus years building production React applications
• Daily TypeScript experience, including runtime data typing
• Next.js App Router or comparable rendering framework experience
• Large-codebase experience fitting earlier technical decisions
• Accessible UI, testing, and scalable CSS experience
