This seasoned engineering role owns critical web application areas and delivers features helping users deploy and manage AI systems. You will work with product, design, and backend teams across production frontend development. Baseten’s platform supports AI companies including Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build responsive interfaces with React and TypeScript
• Translate complex product ideas into intuitive user interfaces
• Optimize rendering speed, responsiveness, performance, and reliability
• Define APIs and refine end-to-end flows with backend teams
• Mentor engineers and establish frontend development practices

Requirements:

• Five or more years building production-grade web applications
• Deep React, TypeScript, and modern tooling expertise
• Track record creating performant, scalable user interfaces
• Strong product intuition and user experience empathy
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
