Overview

In this role you will ensure complex systems meet requirements through robust integration and regression testing. You will collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and stakeholders to plan, execute, and improve testing across a large-scale systems integration programme. You will analyse results, drive issue resolution, and help raise test quality while contributing to continuous improvement. The position offers exposure to mission-critical projects and a chance to shape testing practices within a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain test plans, cases, and reports
  • Design and run integration and regression tests
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into test coverage
  • Analyse results, investigate defects, and support resolution
  • Report testing progress, risks, and issues
  • Validate interfaces, data flows, and system integrations
  • Review large datasets and supplier evidence for requirement compliance
  • Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and quality standards
  • Support development of automated regression testing capabilities
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the team
Key requirements
  • Experience in software testing, integration testing, or systems engineering
  • Ability to create and execute test cases from requirements or design docs
  • Experience with functional, non-functional, integration, or regression testing
  • Experience on projects with multiple systems, suppliers, or integrations
  • Investigation of issues and defect resolution support
  • Data analysis to validate system behavior
  • Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage own workload and work in a team
  • Proactive, willing to learn new tools and technologies
  • ISTQB Foundation (or equivalent) certification is beneficial but not essential
