Overview

As Senior Reliability Engineer, you will lead reliability and asset services for life sciences facilities, integrating energy and lifecycle asset management. You will work closely with the TSSO and client teams to enhance asset performance, using data-driven analysis to extend equipment life and reduce downtime. You’ll oversee RCFA, PM optimization, and condition-based maintenance across multiple locations, delivering measurable improvements in reliability. This role offers growth in a global, sustainability-focused asset management environment at JLL.

Responsibilities
  • Align asset management roadmap with the client’s lead engineer and integrate data from multiple sources for life-cycle recommendations
  • Support site-level Reliability & Asset Services programs to improve machine and facility reliability and compliance
  • Audit safety, regulatory compliance, maintenance effectiveness, and energy conservation
  • Coordinate engineers, technicians, and third-party resources for cost-effective reliability improvements
  • Create and manage preventive maintenance tasks and optimize PM programs
  • Rank asset criticality and propose proactive maintenance strategies with cost-benefit considerations
  • Develop reliability studies, interpret drawings/schematics, and devise risk mitigation for critical assets
  • Conduct RCFA and ensure corrective actions are tracked and effective
  • Understand rotating equipment and implement condition-based maintenance, PD&I technologies
  • Maintain CMMS/EAM records, develop KPIs for equipment reliability, and track site metrics
  • Collaborate with Maintenance and Planning groups and support capital planning across sites
  • Perform multi-discipline facility condition assessments and compile findings for client lifecycle management
Key requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 10+ years in RCM, CbM/PdM methods, building automation, energy management, asset analytics, and capital planning
  • Experience with CMMS/EAM systems and data-driven maintenance strategies
  • Background in critical environments (data centers, labs, manufacturing)
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression systems
  • Experience delivering training, coaching, and mentoring
  • ISO9001/ISO55001 experience and life-cycle costing knowledge
  • Root cause analysis, risk analysis, and experience with predictive maintenance technologies (vibration analysis, infrared thermography, ultrasound, motor current analysis)
