Senior Rust Go Systems Engineer

Build secure ingress proxy systems at Menlo Security using Rust or Go, asynchronous programming, and performance optimization for networked applications.

As a senior engineer, you will own features for the ingress proxy service, the primary product path for most users. You will help extend controls to agent traffic as AI adoption grows. The work emphasizes correctness, scalability, maintainability, security, and production ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain production systems in Rust or Go
• Extend ingress proxy controls to cover agent traffic
• Optimize latency and throughput in networked applications
• Own features from design through production
• Articulate architectural decisions and share secure development practices

Requirements:

• Five or more years building and operating production systems
• Working knowledge of HTTP and TLS
• Experience with Rust or Go strongly preferred
• Experience operating highly concurrent asynchronous services
• Background in secure systems and threat modeling
