Senior Salesforce DevOps Release Manager

Salesforce DevOps leadership defines this senior release management contract, centered on GitHub Actions, Salesforce CLI, and CI/CD pipeline delivery.

The six-month contract supports a consumer retail client in Vancouver or Toronto, with hybrid or remote work during PST hours. You will advance release management across Salesforce Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud initiatives. The work spans multiple engineering squads and environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain Salesforce CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Coordinate releases, schedules, and production readiness activities
• Define Git branching and merging strategies across engineering squads
• Automate pull request validation, Apex testing, and deployments
• Investigate deployment failures and environment synchronization issues

Requirements:

• 10+ years managing Salesforce DevOps and multiple environments
• Hands-on GitHub Actions and Salesforce CLI experience
• Expertise in branching, pull requests, merging, and release promotion
• Proficiency with Salesforce DX, GitHub, VS Code, and scripting
• Experience with Bash, PowerShell, or Python automation
