Senior Salesforce Engineer

Overview
In this role you will design and build Salesforce-based solutions to support our wealth management platform. You will work closely with product teams to translate business needs into scalable technical designs. You’ll ensure secure, reliable deployments and continuously improve release and monitoring practices. You will mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver value for clients and the business.
Responsibilities- Design and develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow and platform APIs
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and internal or third-party systems
- Translate business requirements into technical designs balancing usability, maintainability, and platform limits
- Apply Salesforce security best practices including sharing, permissions and Lightning Web Security
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and identify root causes
- Improve deployment pipelines, release practices and monitoring
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with architects, administrators, product owners and other stakeholders
- Adhere to all Information Security Policies
- Complete other duties as directed
- Occasional work outside normal hours including weekends, evenings, and public holidays
- Salesforce Certifications (e.g. Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II)
- Familiar with declarative tools (Validation Rules, Process Builder, Flows)
- Familiar with Apex, Aura and LWC development
- Experience with Salesforce integrations with other platforms
- Financial Services experience
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication and time-management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- 5+ years of Salesforce experience
- Experience with Jira
- Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD and Test Automation
