Must Haves:

  • Experience with SAP Supply Chain/Manufacturing experience.
  • MRP, Inventory, Master Data, Change Management, SAP S/4HANA expertise
  • ERP, plant, or product launch experience, including testing and cutover.
  • Cross-functional leadership and business process SME experience.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing, material fulfillment, production control, and inventory processes.
  • Project and stakeholder management experience.


Plusses:

  • SAP IBP, EWM, MES, WMS, or EDI integration experience.
  • Automotive manufacturing experience.
  • Analytics/reporting experience (SAC, SQL, CDS Views).
  • Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, or Agile certification.
  • Consulting or system integrator experience.


Team Structure:

  • Serves as the lead SAP Material Planning SME supporting enterprise launch initiatives
  • Partners closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, IT, Purchasing, and Quality teams
  • Serves as the escalation point for launch readiness, material planning, and system integration challenges


Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a SAP MP&L Sr. Launch Engineer to support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation currently in the Explore Phase. This individual will be responsible for driving material planning system readiness, governance, testing strategy, launch execution, and operational stabilization efforts across manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP, MRP, inventory management, material fulfillment, and supply chain operations while serving as a strategic leader between business operations and system integration teams. xhqgsiq Key responsibilities include leading UAT and SIT activities, developing interim business processes, driving MDM and change management initiatives, supporting labor and volume planning, and ensuring successful launch execution from project kickoff through post-launch stabilization.
