Senior SAS Technical Analyst

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a SAS Technical Analyst / Discovery Lead to support the assessment and planning phase of a SAS migration program. This individual will be responsible for performing discovery activities, building an inventory of SAS assets, documenting business and technical dependencies, conducting impact assessments, and helping define migration waves. This role will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, application owners, and technical teams to ensure a successful migration strategy.

Skills and Requirements

• Strong understanding of SAS platforms and environments
• Experience with SQL, data lineage, and dependency analysis
• Technical documentation and process mapping expertise
• Business analysis experience within data and analytics environments
• Experience cataloging applications, workflows, reports, and data flows Data governance and metadata management tools (Collibra preferred)
• Data architecture experience
• Wealth Management or Financial Services experience
• Experience supporting large-scale platform migrations
