Senior SDET Automation Frameworks

Build automated testing frameworks with Plusgrade as a Senior SDET in Montreal, using JavaScript, TypeScript, and AI-driven testing workflows. This fixed-term contract supports a nine-month replacement assignment.

As a Senior Software Developer in Test, you will guide quality across web, mobile, and service-based applications. You will shape test strategy, expand coverage, and protect product integrity for Plusgrade's global travel partners. The work spans automation frameworks, regression suites, service-level testing, and early design reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive test strategy and coverage across applications
• Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks
• Develop test tools and maintain regression suites
• Use AI workflows for test generation and QA analysis
• Surface quality risks during planning and design reviews

Requirements:

• At least four years of coding in test automation
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Groovy, or Python
• Experience building or evolving automation frameworks
• Service-level testing experience with API, integration, and Playwright tools
• Experience building custom AI agents or MCP servers
