Senior SDET Java Test Architect

Architect cloud-native quality engineering with Core Java and CI/CD expertise for Rose International’s hybrid Mississauga team, working three days onsite and two remotely.

This senior Software Development Engineer in Test role requires eight to twelve years of software development and quality engineering experience. You will design scalable automation frameworks, guide technical standards, and support Financial Services testing. The work spans APIs, user interfaces, databases, performance, messaging, and AI-assisted testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design cloud-native automation frameworks using Core Java and architectural patterns
• Accelerate in-sprint testing across interfaces, microservices, and messaging pipelines
• Architect API, contract, and financial data validation frameworks
• Embed quality gates into Jenkins, Tekton, Harness, and containerized pipelines
• Provide governance and technical direction to global SDET teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or equivalent
• Eight to twelve years in software development and quality engineering
• Three years as Lead SDET, Principal SDET, or QA Architect
• Eight years of Core Java, concurrency, collections, and design patterns
• Financial Services or trading workflow experience, including data flows
