Senior SDET Test Automation Engineer

Design test automation and code with Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript at SpryPoint, building confidence across critical utility software workflows.

As a Senior SDET, you will create automation foundations for a new team and influence testing standards across product squads. Your work spans API, integration, and end-to-end UI testing, with CI/CD integration and risk-based prioritization. You will also evaluate AI-assisted tools for test generation, failure triage, and edge-case discovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design the test automation framework and engineering standards
• Write automated API, integration, and end-to-end UI tests
• Integrate tests into CI/CD for fast feedback
• Reduce flakiness and maintain a trustworthy test suite
• Mentor engineers on automation practices across squads

Requirements:

• Five or more years in test automation or software engineering
• Strong coding skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Framework ownership experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
• API testing, SQL, and database validation experience
• Hands-on CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
