Senior Security Architect

In this Senior Security Architect role, you design and apply industry-leading security practices across platforms and services for diverse customers. You will collaborate with Agile delivery teams to embed secure design and practices throughout the software journey, while learning new technologies and sharing knowledge. You’ll coach and develop a small team, providing direction and解决 challenges together. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on shaping secure architectures and guiding risk-aware decisions in complex, multi-domain environments. You’ll join a people-first culture that values collaboration, growth, and real impact.

• Design and apply secure architectures for cloud services and solutions
• Lead security reviews and identify mitigations balancing cost, risk, and usability
• Collaborate with Agile teams to integrate security practices in development
• Educate customers and internal teams on good security practices
• Coach and develop team members, providing performance guidance
• Provide leadership and direction for the security function on projects

• Expertise in secure design of cloud services aligned with security strategies
• Ability to identify security issues in designs and propose mitigations
• Knowledge of security standards/regulations (NCSC, ISO, SoC, NIST, PCI, GDPR)
• Experience in AI/ML/Data/Cloud/M365/Security Architecture
• Background in application/software/infrastructure architecture
• Industry experience in Public/Healthcare/Defence/Commercial sectors
• Experience with security testing of software/infrastructure
• Experience with CI/CD security practices
• Knowledge of network security (OSI, TCP/IP), web app security (OWASP), cryptographic controls (PKI, TLS)
• Strong mentoring/people development and excellent communication skills
