Senior Security Architect Consultant

In this Senior Security Architect role, you will own the security architecture for client IT systems, guiding design, risk, and controls to align with policy and industry best practices. You’ll work across enterprise and solution architecture to translate business goals into secure designs and evidence-supported decisions. You’ll coach junior staff, develop security consulting collateral, and collaborate with multiple defense lines to improve security risk management. • Own secure conceptual, logical and high-level designs by embedding appropriate controls to meet business needs
• Conduct threat modelling, risk assessments and evaluate security controls for effectiveness
• Articulate design recommendations at assurance gates and communicate to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Develop security practice capabilities, coach juniors and build go-to-market collateral and client proposals
• Identify risks, vulnerabilities and emerging threats and lead risk mitigation planning
• Collaborate with 1st-3rd lines of defense on cyber security, assurance, data privacy and regulatory compliance
• Challenge processes to drive continuous improvement in security risk management across the organization

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Cyber Security
• Practical knowledge of NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, NCSC CAF or similar guidelines
• Strong knowledge of modern security concepts, attack vectors, malware, threat intelligence
• 2+ certifications from CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CRISC or equivalent
• 3+ years in areas like AD, Cryptography, IAM, PKI, server hardening, SIEM, SOAR, virtualization (VMware)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills
• UK SC level Security Clearance eligibility or ability to obtain, British nationals required
