Senior Security Engineer

Salary: Up to £80,000 + Benefits Package

We're seeking a talented Cyber Security Engineer to join a growing security function, helping to design, implement and improve security controls across modern cloud and hybrid infrastructure. This is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while playing a key role in protecting critical systems and data.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing and implementing security controls across cloud and on-premise environments
• Working closely with engineering and security teams to embed security best practices
• Managing and improving SIEM platforms, logging pipelines and security monitoring capabilities
• Supporting incident response activities and security investigations
• Conducting security assessments, infrastructure reviews and vulnerability remediation
• Automating security processes using scripting and Infrastructure as Code principles
• Developing and maintaining security standards, policies and procedures
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the wider security engineering capability

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' commercial experience in Cyber Security Engineering
• Active SC Clearance
• Experience across cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
• Knowledge of SIEM technologies such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, ELK or similar
• Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell or Bash
• Understanding of networking, infrastructure security and vulnerability management
• Experience operating within secure or regulated environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
