Senior Security Incident Response Manager

Lead global security investigations remotely across Canada, combining incident response expertise with engineering leadership and AI-enabled investigation workflows.

Affirm seeks an experienced security leader to guide its global investigations and incident response program as international operations expand. You will lead a technically deep, engineering-oriented team, direct complex incidents, and strengthen consistent response across regions. The work spans detection, containment, remediation, recovery, and durable engineering improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead security incidents and investigations through post-incident review
• Serve as incident commander during major security events
• Guide root-cause analysis and validate engineering fixes
• Develop responders, priorities, readiness, and execution across regions
• Advance tooling, telemetry, detection, automation, and AI workflows

Requirements:

• 10+ years in security operations, incident response, or related fields
• Major incident leadership in cloud-native technology environments
• Technical depth in investigations, detection, forensics, or response
• Experience managing technical or engineering teams
• Executive communication and AI security judgment with safeguards
