Senior Site Reliability Engineer

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer in GoDaddy’s Commerce SRE team, you lead reliability and operational improvements for our commerce platforms. You’ll own critical production systems and drive incident response, while shaping cloud, automation, and observability initiatives. You’ll collaborate with infrastructure, security, and product teams to reduce risk and scale services. • Lead reliability and operational improvement initiatives across GoDaddy's Commerce platform
• Own critical production systems and drive incident response and post-incident improvements
• Design and enhance cloud infrastructure, automation, observability, and deployment platforms
• Partner with engineering, infrastructure, security, and product teams to solve complex challenges and manage operational risk
• Use automation, AI-assisted tooling, and data-driven insights to reduce toil and accelerate delivery
• Mentor engineers and influence practices to improve reliability across the organization
• Contribute to the team's technical direction and improve systems and processes

• 5+ years operating, troubleshooting, and improving large-scale production systems in cloud environments
• Strong expertise in AWS, Linux, Kubernetes, and modern infra engineering practices
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation solutions, and CI/CD pipelines
• Proven track record leading or owning production incidents and implementing long-term reliability improvements
• Strong software engineering or scripting skills (Python, Go, TypeScript, or similar)
• Experience using observability data and metrics to improve performance and drive decisions
• Ability to independently lead complex technical initiatives and manage competing priorities across multiple teams
• Experience mentoring engineers and elevating engineering standards
