Overview

As a Senior Software Architect at TeamViewer, you drive the architectural direction for scalable, secure software that aligns with strategic goals. You mentor teams, guide complex design decisions, and shape AI-enabled engineering practices to improve product capability and efficiency. You collaborate across engineering, product, and operations to ensure maintainability and long-term value. This role offers hands-on architecture work with a focus on real-world impact and cross-functional delivery.

• Hands-On Architecture: design and implement enterprise-grade, scalable, secure software solutions
• Implementation Support: guide development teams throughout the full lifecycle from concept to deployment

• Risk Management: identify and mitigate architectural risks

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with complex architectures across multiple domains
• Hands-on experience delivering real-world solutions and supporting implementation
• Experience designing enterprise-grade scalable, secure, and maintainable systems
• Proficiency in at least one modern backend language (C#, Java, or C++) and willingness to learn new tech
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and scale considerations
• Awareness of applying AI in software engineering and architecture while maintaining value
• Hands-on use of AI-assisted tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code)
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Understanding of distributed systems, multi-platform development, non-functional requirements, and requirements engineering
• Ability to document complex systems clearly in structured, accessible form
