Overview
As a Senior Software Developer you will shape, build, and optimize in-house trading and research systems. You’ll influence architecture, drive performance and scalability, and mentor others within a C#/.NET/SQL Server ecosystem. You work closely with researchers and traders to translate requirements into robust software while advancing development standards. This role offers impact on greenfield projects and strategic technical direction.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C#/.NET applications
- Lead architectural discussions and guide technical direction
- Build scalable systems supporting automated trading and research
- Develop and optimise SQL Server (or equivalent) databases
- Improve reliability, performance, and automation across systems
- Mentor junior developers and promote best engineering practices
- Participate in code reviews and uphold quality standards
- Collaborate with researchers and traders to translate requirements into software
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tooling
- BSc (or higher) in Computer Science or related field
- Strong recent experience with C# and the latest .NET platform
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Solid experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or equivalent relational databases
- Strong understanding of OOP and software architecture
- Experience building production-grade, scalable systems
- Fluency in English with excellent communication
