Senior Software Developer

In this role you will design and build high-performance C#/.NET applications that support trading strategies and quantitative research. You will own significant projects, influence architecture and engineering standards, and collaborate with traders and researchers. You will tackle performance-critical challenges, optimize data systems, and ensure quality through reviews and CI. This is a hands-on, impact-driven role in a technical, collaborative team shaping core trading infrastructure.

• Design and develop high-performance applications using C# and modern .NET
• Own complex projects from requirements and technical design through production
• Shape architecture and contribute to key technical decisions
• Build scalable systems for trading, research and data-intensive apps
• Develop and optimise relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle)
• Identify and fix performance bottlenecks and improve efficiency
• Apply multithreading, concurrency and asynchronous programming
• Strengthen software quality through code reviews, automated testing and CI
• Mentor other developers and uphold engineering standards

• Five+ years of commercial software development experience
• Strong expertise in C# and modern .NET
• Excellent understanding of OOP and software design principles
• Experience delivering production applications with emphasis on performance, reliability, and scalability
• Strong SQL skills with relational databases
• Understanding of full software development lifecycle
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical colleagues
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or related field
