About the Opportunity

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join a high-performing engineering team supporting large-scale cloud modernization initiatives. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys working with both modern and legacy applications, takes pride in writing clean, maintainable code, and embraces AI-assisted development while maintaining strong engineering fundamentals.

Principal Tasks and Responsibilities Include:

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
• Support cloud migration initiatives while modernizing legacy applications and improving code quality, readability, and maintainability.
• Leverage AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or OpenAI to improve productivity while ensuring code is production-ready through strong testing and validation practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, documentation, and ongoing support.
• Contribute as a hands-on individual contributor, proactively solving complex technical challenges and improving existing codebases.

Our Client

Our client is a well-established enterprise organization.

Qualifications and Pre-Requisites:

• 6+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot .
• Strong working knowledge of Python , including maintaining and enhancing existing Python applications.
• Experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS and/or GCP, with exposure to cloud migration initiatives considered a strong asset.
• Proven understanding of software development best practices, SDLC, automated testing, code quality, and writing clean, maintainable production code.
• Self-motivated individual contributor with excellent communication skills and a passion for continuous learning, modern development practices, and AI-assisted software development.

Interview Process: 1–2 interviews.
