Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

In this Senior SDET role, you will shape automated testing across client-facing projects in the financial services domain. You’ll work within Capco’s Engineering team to deliver high-quality, scalable test strategies and artefacts, leveraging cloud-native tech and agile practices. You’ll contribute to UI and API automation, ensure robust test data and environments, and collaborate across cross-functional teams. • Create robust, scalable test strategies and artefacts
• Develop and manage test artefacts such as plans, specifications, scripts, and reports
• Manage test environments and generate consistent test data
• Execute UI and API tests using modern automation tools
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure quality-first delivery

• Proficiency in at least one OOP language (Java, Scala, or JavaScript)
• Experience building test automation frameworks from scratch (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
• Experience with UI and API automation
• Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, Jenkins, GitHub, and SonarQube
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure
