You will collaborate across security and software teams to translate requirements into robust, high-performance software. You’ll tackle complex security challenges, shaping tools that automate responses and reduce manual work. • Collaborate with leadership to automate parts of the pentest experience and improve efficiency
• Assess opportunities, prioritize quickly, and prototype solutions with cross-functional teams
• Design and implement scalable security software that mitigates risk across the Amazon ecosystem
• Develop code to reduce manual security processes by 50% or more and accelerate responses
• Partner with security and software teams to translate security requirements into high-performance solutions
• Prototype and deploy security tools protecting millions of customers and billions in transactions

• Experience programming in at least one modern language (Java, C++, or C#) with object-oriented design
• Professional software development experience (non-internship)
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• Experience leading architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, scaling) of new and/or existing systems
• Development experience within the last 3 years
