Verily
Who We Are Verily Health is a data platform and technology company purpose-built to power AI-enabled precision health solutions that accelerate research and improve care for individuals and communities. Uniquely positioned at the intersection of technology, data science, and healthcare, Verily transforms multimodal health data into insights, models, and actions that make healthcare more personalized, predictive, and precise.
Description Verily Pre is a comprehensive, patient-centered platform that accelerates evidence generation for safer, more effective treatments and care decisions. Our cloud-first architecture, advanced analytics, and AI capabilities enable the collection, enrichment, and activation of petabytes of data, tailored to meet the unique needs of our partners.
Verily Intelligence, within Verily Pre, provides the infrastructure and tooling that Verily's data scientists and developers use to build, evaluate, deploy, and operate models and agents, and brings those AI capabilities into products across Verily.
As a Senior Software Development Manager in Verily Intelligence, you will lead the AI Development organization: the teams that build the infrastructure and tooling for self-service, low-latency serving of models and agents, and the evaluation and monitoring toolkit that keeps them trustworthy from first experiment through production. You will shape the technical strategy for this part of the platform, partner closely with Data Science and Product to prioritize what to build next, and build a collaborative, results-driven development culture.

- Own the delivery of Verily's model and agent serving infrastructure, providing a reliable, self-service path for first-party and third-party models and agents to reach production.
- Own the delivery of Verily's evaluation and monitoring toolkit, enabling rigorous pre-release evaluation of models and agents and continuous regression and drift analysis in production.
- Drive project planning, resource allocation, and technical roadmaps in close partnership with Data Science and Product to align cross-functional goals with scalable delivery.
- Partner with the teams developing and launching models and agents to understand their pain points and turn them into platform capabilities that make AI development at Verily increasingly self-serve.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven track record of building and operating ML/AI platforms, spanning model and agent serving and evaluation, with strong self-service adoption.
