Senior Software Engineer - UK Remote - FTC Our client is a UK organisation that delivers essential support services to people facing some of life's most difficult circumstances. Their work helps people stay safe, find stability and move forward with their lives. They're now modernising the software behind these services and need a Senior Software Engineer to help lead that work. Salary up to £80,000 Fully remote within the UK 12 month fixed term contract with strong possibility for extension

What you'll do
Design, build and delivery of modern web applications Build APIs and scalable, cloud-based architecture on Azure Improve existing codebases, engineering practices and deployment processes Mentor engineers and build a team culture based on collaboration and high standards Work in Agile and DevOps ways to deliver reliable, well-tested software Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to design systems that solve real problems
What you'll bring
Extensive commercial experience with C#, .NET and SQL Strong Azure experience, including cloud adoption frameworks A proven track record in API development and modern system architecture Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, automated testing and code reviews A calm, practical approach to solving problems under pressure Excellent communication skills and experience working with diverse teams A background in Agile delivery
Security clearance
Our client works closely with the UK Home Office, so the successful candidate must pass SC Clearance. You need to be a UK citizen or hold Settled Status or Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR). Interested?
