Overview

In this role you will combine deep hands-on engineering with architectural leadership to build end-to-end fintech crime platforms. You’ll influence cross-functional teams across fraud ops, analytics and compliance to advance detection capabilities. The work spans core coding, data and backend work, plus designing scalable architecture for AML and fraud solutions. You will engage with cutting-edge fraud platforms to shape scalable, trusted systems that support regulatory needs.

Responsibilities
  • Hands-on engineering across the tech stack (Java, data, DB) to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Design and lead architecture for fincrime/fraud platforms and related ecosystems
  • Partner with fraud operations, analytics and compliance teams to align solutions with regulatory and operational requirements
  • Evaluate and integrate fraud detection platforms and technologies as needed
  • Drive technical credibility and mentorship within the team
Key requirements
  • 7-10 years experience in software engineering or related field
  • Strong hands-on coding ability and comfort with full-stack development
  • Deep AML and fraud domain knowledge including typologies, detection strategies, regulations
  • Experience with end-to-end system design and architecture
  • Familiarity with or exposure to fraud tech platforms (e.g., Feedzai, NetReveal, BioCatch, Featurespace)
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and influence skills
