Senior Software Engineer

In this role you will help global clients build the next generation of digital experiences using Bloomreach’s brXM platform. You’ll lead technical delivery on client projects, advocate best practices, and shape integration architectures. You work closely with Solution Architects and engineers to mitigate risks and improve add-ons and plugins. This role combines hands-on development with customer-facing consulting, across markets in EMEA and beyond. You’ll join a collaborative, flexible team delivering high-impact personalization at scale.

• Serve as lead Bloomreach developer on client projects with large-scale impact
• Assist product integrations using Java and modern frontend frameworks (Vue, Angular, React)
• Leverage Spring and Maven where applicable
• Validate discovery, scope and solution designs for integrations
• Assess technical risks and propose mitigation strategies
• Make architectural recommendations with customers and partners alongside Solution Architects
• Improve usability of DXP add-ons/plugins through code and documentation
• Learn on the job, coach peers, and participate in onboarding and regional deployments

• Bachelor in IT
• Minimum 6 years of developer experience
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on Java implementations
• Experience leading client relationships
• Experience with enterprise and/or cloud software
• Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills
• Willingness to communicate in English (verbal and written)
